Who's to Say
02:17
|

I wake up day to day
alive, incessantly
where to next, I don’t know
but I’ll arrive eventually
If I see you on my way
I’ll ask you for a souvenir
I’ll take it when I start again someday
who’s to say
it’s a quiet mystery
it’s a subtle necessity
I’m starting to know how
to assume I’m not limited
and if I choose to stay or go
will you know I’m not sure of it
I guess I see you now
ahead of me, still looking back
please tell me what you do to get away
who’s to say

Still Right Here
02:07
|

These days are getting long, and the heat hangs in the air
The dog sleeps in the kitchen, and the cat could be anywhere
I make my morning coffee, and I sit out on the deck
It’s been over a year, and I’m somehow
still right here
Two birds build a nest, and the groundhogs get their fill
Looks like there is a storm approaching just over the hill
I check up on some emails, and I try to get work done
It’s been over a year, and I’m somehow
still right here
The frogs are pretty shameless as they call out in the night
The fireflies light up the trees, the bats, they take flight
I get a glass of water right before I go to bed
It’s been over a year, and I’m somehow
still right here

Dearly
02:53
|
|||
I’m willing and wishing for some
insight and truth
wait longer, not too far away
I’m fighting and feeling some kind of
distant reality
swear I’ll come back for you someday
cause all I want is to talk to you dearly
and laugh with you late till we’re quiet and weary
and when the morning takes the evening then I’ll be believing
that you and I must be alright
I’m rising and watching for the
joy of something more
tell me when you think you can determine
I’m growing and waking in a
gesture of the light
where are you when I say I’m certain

What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul,
what wondrous love is this, O my soul!
What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss
to bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul,
to bear the dreadful curse for my soul!
To God and to the Lamb, I will sing, I will sing,
to God and to the Lamb, I will sing;
to God and to the Lamb, who is the great I AM,
while millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing,
while millions join the theme, I will sing!
And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on,
and when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on;
and when from death I’m free, I’ll sing and joyful be,
and through eternity I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on,
and through eternity, I’ll sing on!
